The colors of blue and gold are proudly displayed on our
Pates every Friday. The color blue can
be associated with depth and stability, and considered to be beneficial to the
mind and body. The color gold can be
associated with love, compassion, courage, and wisdom.
Our Fort Washington school spirit is not limited to just
wearing our school colors, it also encompasses our fun dress-up days throughout
the school year to highlight other areas of interest. Some of the dress-up events include: wearing red, white, and blue to celebrate our
veterans; wearing purple for Purple-Up Day to show support for military
children for their strength and sacrifices; wearing blue for Autism Awareness
Day; dressing up to support Read Across America Week, and many more.
