Academic Clubs
The Fort Washington Science Fair is a great way to get involved, earn Block FW points, and attempt to answer all those science questions you have been thinking about. Science Fair participants must be in 4th, 5th, or 6th grade. The commitment for Science Fair is about 4-6 months beginning in October, with project completion in January. Local, Regional, and State Science Fairs generally take place January through May depending on the advancement of the project. Only 6th-grade projects can advance to the regional and state level.
Please email Kristen Cole for more information.
Are you a 4-6 grade student who is interested in history, research, debate, or public speaking? If so, History Day may be for you! Participants in History Day research historical events and prepare presentations in various formats, including posters, speeches, and websites, all while earning credit towards Block FW. History Day begins in October with students finishing their projects in January. Fresno Regional History Day competition is held in March.
Parent Information Meeting Night information will be updated in early September 2025, so please check back soon for information.
