Science Club is for any third and fourth grade student who is interested in doing activities that make science concepts come alive. This is for students who want to explore topics that will support their knowledge of the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) that are being taught in their classrooms. All that is required is an inquisitive mind and a desire to learn new things. Science Club begins in November.
For more information please contact Kristen Cole.
The Fort Washington Science Fair is a great way to get involved, earn Block FW points, and attempt to answer all those science questions you have been thinking about. Science Fair participants must be in 4th, 5th, or 6th grade. The commitment for Science Fair is about 4-6 months beginning in October, with project completion in January. Local, Regional, and State Science Fairs generally take place January through May depending on the advancement of the project. Only 6th grade projects can advance to the regional and state level.
Please email Kristen Cole for more information.
