Principal's Message for December 5, 2022

Hello Pates,

We had a great week back from Thanksgiving Break.   Many of our Pates expressed how much they missed school, their teachers, and seeing their friends.  It’s warming to know how important school is to our students and their social development.

It was also wonderful seeing our Pates support the Fort at FWPA’s Panda Night.   There were at least 100 online orders and 80 walk-in orders!  We are grateful for the amazing students and community we serve.  Thank you for your support!

Please give a warm welcome to Ms. Carol Kaufman, our new school registrar.  She is familiar with our CUSD values being a former Clovis High graduate and has experience in working in a CUSD elementary school office.   We are excited to have Ms. Kaufman join our Fort Washington team!

We’re in luck!  If in case you have not had the opportunity to claim your lost items from the Lost & Found bin, we have one more week!  Our former Pate will be picking up the unclaimed items after school on Friday, December 9th.  Student Council will lay the unclaimed items out this week, weather permitting.

Also on December 9th is our annual FWPA Toy-for-Tots Movie Night.   Flyers were sent home with our students and are also available on Peach Jar.  Admission is a new unwrapped toy that will be donated to the Marine Corps Toys-for-Tots Drive.  Please reserve your spot online via the QR code on the flyer.  Snack packs will be available for purchase through December 7th.  School rules for cell phone use will apply during Movie Night.  Hope to see you there!

Sincerely,

Mrs. Hashimoto
