Our annual FWPA Cookie Dough Fundraiser was a HUGE success! The funds raised will go directly back to supporting our students at the Fort. Our next FW Parent Association meeting will be held in-person on Tuesday, May 11th at 6pm in the Fort Washington Multipurpose Room (MPR). Please come and attend, FWPA needs you! Cookie Dough pick-up is scheduled for Wednesday, May 12th from 12pm to 6pm. It will be conducted just like last school as a drive-thru pick-up in the FW parking lot.
In case you have been wondering why we haven’t seen Mrs. Guffey at the Fort over this past month, it is because she had transitioned to her new role as a Special Education Program Specialist in the Clovis East area. With her background in Special Education, she was needed to start her new role right away. Congratulations to Mrs. Guffey and we wish her all the best!
As we are winding down our school year, our plan for returning school-issued laptops will begin on Thursday, June 3rd. Students who are in-person with a school-issued laptop and/or hotspot will bring their device(s) back onto campus on June 3rd. Teachers will be checking to make sure the returned devices are in working condition. Students on CUSD Connect may return their school-issued laptop and/or hotspots on Friday, June 4th until 12:00pm, or the following week on June 7th through June 10th from 8am to 5pm in the front office. All hot spots will be deactivated by June 15th. Any laptop damages may incur a repair and/or replacement fee.
