Hello Pates,

     Thank you for supporting our FWPA Premo Pizza Fundraiser Nights!  Premo Pizza offered TWO nights to support the Fort this past week.  Thank you to Premo Pizza for your support!  To support local, our FW Parent Association is partnering with local businesses to sponsor our FWPA fundraisers.  Our FW Parent Association is the main backbone in supporting our school.  The 400+ student laptops that have been lent out to our Pates to access instruction for this school year was largely attributed to FWPA making a large purchase of laptops a couple of years ago.  The Fort Washington students have benefitted from the continued partnership between our community and our school.  We cannot thank our FWPA enough for always putting our students first and supporting our school.  For more information in being a part of our FWPA, please visit www.fortparents.com.  Please continue to check our weekly Town Criers, Fort Washington Facebook and Instagram for upcoming FWPA events.

     This week, we are celebrating literacy with Read Across America Week!  Each day of the week is designated as a fun dress-up day paired with books written by Dr. Seuss.  Enjoy dressing up and pulling a great book to read each day of the week!

     For the month of March, Fort Washington will be running a competition between our classrooms with spreading kindness throughout the month.   Students will be capturing someone showing kindness by writing it down on a piece of construction paper provided by their teacher to add to a classroom chain of kindness.  At the end of the month, the classroom with the longest kindness chain WINS!  Communication from your classroom teacher will include the details in how our students on the CUSD Connect track can contribute towards their classroom kindness chain too.  PATES ARE GREAT!
